KFC Australia is bringing back its most requested burger – complete with fried chicken coated in the secret 11 herbs and spices, tangy sauce and a hash brown.

The fast food chain has delighted diners with the re-launch of its hugely popular Tower Burger after quietly disappearing from menus almost three years ago.

Described as ‘the most delicious tower ever to grace this planet’, the old-time classic comes stacked with an Original Recipe fillet, cheese slice, tangy tomato sauce, mayonnaise, fresh lettuce and a crispy hash brown.

The menu item will be available from Tuesday, February 23 for a limited time only.

‘For the first time in nearly three years, we’re excited to bring back an all-time fan favourite,’ Kristi Woolrych, KFC Australia’s chief marketing officer, said.

‘Fans across the country have been vocal in calling for its return, so we know they’ll be eager to get their hands on it while they can – but get in quick as you never know when it’ll be back again.’

But if spice is more your style, diners can also swap out the Original Recipe fillet for a Zinger fillet for a bit more of a kick.

The ‘legendary’ burger was last available in Australia back in 2018.

The Tower Burger has since kept loyal fans on the edge of their seats waiting for its highly anticipated comeback.

After an overwhelming number of pleas and social pages flooded with demands, the menu item has finally returned – and will be available until Monday, March 22.

‘Don’t leave it too late because it’s here for a good time, not a long time,’ it said.

The chain also teased diners, saying: ‘For our fans who are in on the secret, the Colonel has also got an extra tasty treat for those who like to double up.

‘While we can’t give too much away, keep an eye on our menu and… oh wait, we’ve said too much…’
