A LOTTERY winner who won a life-changing prize has revealed how he hit the jackpot thanks to a message from "beyond the grave".

Myke Brooke, from Dudley, said he prayed to a butterfly after his beloved step-mum passed away.

The cash-trapped winner was going through tough times when he won nearly £90,909 just weeks after he tried his luck.

Myke, from Pensett, lost his step-mum Kelly after a long-battle with cancer on January 2021.

After the tragic death, he started praying to butterflies to cope with the painful loss.

Myke revealed how he learnt about the surprising win three weeks after he saw the insect.
