Remember plans? We haven’t been making any for a long time. But, in some months, we may be allowed out again.

And if that’s the case then you’ll want to head to this chicken wings festival.

The event – dubbed as Europe’s largest wing festival – is coming to the UK this summer.

Wing Fest UK – which took a hiatus last year because of the pandemic – is hoping to return for its seventh season in 2021.

The ‘ultimate chicken wing showdown’ will have delicious offerings from vendors all over the country.

You’ll be able to get your hands on wings for as little as £1 so you can get grab plenty of different options without getting too full from one stall.

Anyone who had tickets for the festival in 2020 will have their tickets automatically rolled into this year.

Those who held tickets for 2020 but don’t want to attend this year will no longer be able to be refunded (so, best to just attend and chomp on some wings).

The festival will be available in three cities around the UK; London, Manchester and Bristol in July and August.

Event organisers shared the news, saying: ‘After a year away, we’re back for our 7th annual festival this summer. We’re bringing along some of the UK’s finest wing vendors for an event like no other.’

And fans are excited for the shindig. One person commented on Instagram: ‘Boys’ trip to Bristol,’ while another exclaimed: ‘CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS AGAIN’.

Another was hopeful, saying: ‘Optimistic’.

The event in the capital will take place on 24 and 25 July at London Stadium, followed by Manchester on 14 and 15 August at a venue yet to be announced.

The festival will then draw to a close in Bristol’s Lloyds Amphitheatre on 11 and 12 September.

You can order your tickets what sounds like a delectable event on the Wing Fest UK website.

It certainly beats ordering a takeaway just to feel something.
