A WOMAN slammed her partner for wanting to go on holiday without her, and just with his daughter.

The woman explained they had been together for three years, but only saw each other once a week as they didn't live together.

She said she took him on his first holiday in 30 years to a city break abroad.

However, he then wanted to go back there with his 21-year-old-daughter – but leave her behind.

She explained on Mumsnet: "Soon after we got back and we had started dreaming about our next trip, perhaps with his daughter and her partner, and even my kids too, he informed me that his daughter wanted to go on a trip abroad with him alone next, to the exact place we'd been, without me or her boyfriend.

"He didn't say no, of course, but I was gutted because he has little money and leave from work, so this means I have to wait another whole year for a proper holiday with him.

"I understand he needs time with his daughter, but it feels this trip abroad will be at my expense."

She said she thought it was "odd" she wanted to go with her dad instead of her boyfriend, as well as it having to be the same place they went.

She finished by saying: "I worry she just wants him to pay, so this will further impact on his ability to do anything with me, and feel it's unfair because it's only down to my efforts that he's finally able to go abroad, and yet someone else is reaping all the benefits, at least for another year."

She asked if she was being unreasonable – and nearly everyone in the comments said she was.
