Thought you nailed your Halloween party outfit last night? Think again.

A group of pooches showed up to the Washington Square Park Halloween Parade dressed to the nines in a plethora of spooky (and hilarious) costumes.

Four-legged friends and their owners lined the streets in adorable attire, with looks paying tribute to celebrities, TV shows, famous figures, animals and more.

Some of the most memorable outfits included a dog dressed as a doughnut and coffee and another as a UPS delivery driver.

While some other mutts sported lobster, cowboy and doctor costumes.

Even a canine Albert Einstein was spotted sniffing the streets.

Other topical looks included a set of three dogs dressed as a COVID-19 testing site, as well as a pink Squid Game jumpsuit.

Prizes were awarded for some of the best costumes – although, we think every pooch that took part should be commended for their effort and dedication.

This week has been a big one for doggy dress up as last weekend another canine Halloween event took place in the US.

The Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade made a glorious return in New York on October 23, after it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
