A woman who calls herself a "gypsy girl" has slammed haters for the nasty stereotypes surrounding the travelling community.

Adele Hartley shared a glimpse into her daily routine in a bid to squash the myths that travellers are work-shy.

Posting on TikTok, where she has over 21,600 followers, captioned the video: "What people think gypsy girls do every day."

In the clip, under the account @adelehartleyx, it showed a photo of a young woman watching TV with a drink and bowl of crisps.

Then Adele cuts to footage of her real life with the caption: "Vs what we actually do."

She shows a transformation of her bed made up with cushions before she can be seen filling a bucket with hot soapy water.

After she embarks on a mammoth cleaning routine which she shows in her TikTok video.

Firstly Adele takes a hot cloth and wipes clean her bedside cabinet then the walls.

Next she moves onto the skirting boards and light switches.

Also in the clip, Adele sprays the furniture polish onto the wooden door before taking another cloth and polishing it until it shines.

But she's not done there as Adele opens the window and then cleans the inside of the frame.

Finally she takes her toothbrush and a bottle of Cif then gets to work on the rest of the window.

TikTok viewers were left amazed by her cleaning routine.

One said: "God I wish I had the time to do this every day."

Another added: "I honestly have so much respect for anyone who spends their days like this I could never."

But some took this as an opportunity to troll Adele for being part of the travelling community.

Adele responded: "Why so negative, I never said anything about non-gypsies."
