Express.co.uk chatted to Marites Allen, Celebrity Feng Shui and Chinese Zodiac Expert to find out what the Rat horoscope is for 2021.
Rat 2021 zodiac horoscope
People born in Rat years are in for a more fortunate year in 2021, according to Marites.
She said: “This Year of the Metal Ox 2021 brings better luck for the Rat, the first animal sign in the Chinese astrology system.
“It is as if the Rat comes first in everything, even considering what transpired during the pandemic-struck Year of the Rat 2020.”
She added: “You should look forward to this year because it comes with some lifesaving clairvoyant energy.
“If you ever wondered who was against you at any time, this year will bring out the true colours of your enemies.
“You will do a lot of changes in this period, resetting your relationships, and building the ones that matter to you.
“It is only when you have resolved your conflicts that you can focus on the other things.
“You will change and this change will be noticed by all including your rivals.
“This change is good because it was brought about by the experience you encountered the previous year.
“You will be wiser, more mature, and ready to make big changes in your life.
“Taking careful strides as you make important decisions and not choosing to trust blindly should be your motto in 2021.”

If you’re looking for love, 2021 is your year!
Marites said: “Your heart is in the right place this 2021 and as a Rat-born, you love not only with your heart but also with your head.
“This is the year of your secret friend – the Ox, thus there is a very high chance of you opening to finding great love this year.”
“Just be careful not to get involved with those who intend to dominate you.
“Some will want to take advantage of your trust and devotion but you will always see through their act.”
You will meet people in unexpected places and could even find your life partner, Marites said.
If you’re single in 2021, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Marites said: “Being single means that you can have fun while keeping an eye out for true love.
“You should not bother pushing your love luck with a toxic person, because then it would mean endless fights with no hope for reconciliation.
“You are just healing and need to be around a partner who will love you unconditionally.
“You will find this kind of relationship with an Ox, Dragon, or Monkey partner.”
If you’re already married, Marites said this year could be a great time to have children.
She said: “For the married Rat, now is a great time to welcome a new member into the family.
“You can start raising kids of your own. Enhance the North sector with some love and relationship emblems.”

If you’ve had a rough 2020, you can take a sigh of relief because 2021 will bring better opportunities.
Marites said: “You can bank on a better 2021 that could bring you career growth.
“However, you will need to put in a lot of effort if you want things to work out fine.
“The results you get will be determined by your professional strength.
“It is not going to be as easy as you would normally have it, but you can make things less stressful by focusing mainly on the shorter tasks ahead of you.
“If you find yourself in a position where you have to do business with others, you must observe care.”
Be wary of the people you work with though, Marites said.
She explained: “Not everyone comes with good intentions and you may want to pay close attention to the body language of the people around you.
“You should know the risks of losing attention, which means you will have to overwork yourself.
“You can maintain a professional relationship with eagle eyes.
“You must see to the start and finish of your projects because that is what makes you a professional.”
Those who are currently unemployed will have more luck in 2021.
She said: “You will be offered new opportunities especially in the areas of communication.
“You must put on a professional outlook if you want to ace the recruitment process.
“Some wealth enhancers in the North corner of your office, such as your own Rat image or your allies and friends’ emblems will prove beneficial.”
Wealth luck
If your purse has been a little empty in 2020, you may get lucky this year.
Marites said: “If you play your cards right, it will be easier for you to achieve prosperity in 2021.
“Those who are in business or have started other forms of income-generating activities could make profits around autumn.
“If you see an investment opportunity, do not fail to check it out.
“If you are having doubts, probably because the investment poses a lot of questions, follow your gut feeling.”
The first part of the year will involve a lot of risk-taking and hard work on your part, Marites added.
She warned Rats not to stay idle in the Ox year, explaining: “Making room for some challenging opportunities could turn into some lucky breaks.
“Enhance the North corner of your home with success and victory enhancers. This will surely work wonders for you.”
Your network is your net worth, they say, so try to enjoy activities other than work and get out and socialise.
Marites said: “This is where you can gather more wealth-making opportunities from your network of friends.

“It is not a bad idea to accept invitations to events, as you will get to build more friendships.
“Even if your new friends are finding it hard to trust you, it is just expected because they will test you.
“However, if you pass this test, you will have them in your life for a very long time.
“Activate the West or North sector with affirmation-inspired enhancers to materialize favourable energies for you.”
Health Luck
You may face some challenges when it comes to your health in 2021.
Marites said: “Some health concerns may challenge you owing to the illness energies of the year.
“However, if you stay in a positive mood and persevere with a better disposition in life, then you can overcome this challenge.
“You should never neglect your needs when it comes to physical and mental health.
“Investing in your well-being is always worth it. Some anti-illness charms in the form of wo lou or longevity medallions can truly help.”
Pay particular attention to your heart and cardiovascular system, and observe a healthy diet.
She added: “You will be tempted to binge and eat very often but you must be careful not to become overweight.
