Alan Fletcher has revealed that, while he doesn’t know anything about storylines just yet, Neighbours will very much be the show that we know and love when it returns to screens.

The Aussie soap was offered a reprieve by Amazon Freevee, who came to the rescue just months after it’s star-studded final episode aired on Channel 5, who previously and controversially cancelled the show.

Fans were overwhelmed with the word of its comeback, especially given the news broke so soon after the finale had transmitted, but the joy was aplenty, with viewers desperate to return to Ramsay Street as soon as possible.

Little is known about the revival series, which is set to hit our screens in Autumn, other than a number of former favourites are set to reprise their roles for this exciting new era.

Speculation has been rife among the fandom, with viewers eager to know what to expect from Neighbours’ new chapter, and what the show will look like on a streaming service, not to mention how often new episodes will drop.

Alan, who plays Dr Karl Kennedy, is similarly in the dark, with cast members having yet to find out what the future looks like for Neighbours, but he has promised fans that, no matter what, the show will still be the one everyone knows and loves.
