A woman has been branded a genius after sharing her shopping hack that has saved her lugging around and forking out for bags.

Nothing is worse than not having a car to chuck your weekly shop in – so having to jump on public transport and walk back home with countless bags is the reality for many.

The plastic handles can make your hands red raw and leave indentation marks upon your palms.

So it is no wonder why TikTok user Lydia has come up with a creative idea to whisk her shopping home without breaking her back or risking the bags breaking.

In a TikTok clip, the brunette Brit has vowed to ‘work smarter’ on her grocery visits to Aldi by taking her suitcase with her.

And no, Lydia is not treating the middle row in Aldi as a budget holiday.

She takes her suitcase with her to put her shopping in so she can simply roll it back home, without having to do the painful task of carrying bags.

In the clip, Lydia can be seen rolling her red suitcase shopping with her as she used a separate trolley to ‘secure the goods’.

However, she shared in the clip that an ‘old man’ laughed at her food shopping hack.

When it came to the check out, instead of having to bag her food up – Lydia simply placed the items in her suitcase and rolled it back home.

But despite people laughing at her while she was rolling her suitcase down the aisles of the budget store – thousands of people want in on the hack.

Since being posted, Lydia’s video has now racked up 376,000 views and 37,000 likes on TikTok.

And, many people have been left stunned at Lydia’s nifty idea, so fled to the comments to praise her innovative hack.

One person commented: “What feels illegal but isn’t.”

Another user added: “Honestly this is genius because I still can’t drive and the weekly shop kills me off.”

While a third person voiced: “Omg I did this and was such a lifesaver when I went to uni!”

Someone else noted: “It makes so much sense it’s easy travelling, waterproof and sturdy."

As a fifth person declared: “This is the best idea ever.”
