Daisy is a content creator who shares her recipes on her TikTok account @dishesbydaisy, where she has 631.3K followers and her videos have be “liked” 8.3M times.

She also shares her expertise on her Instagram, where she has @25.5K followers and on her YouTube account.  She turned her hand to roast potatoes, sharing one recipe with her followers. She said: “Let’s make crispy and spicy potatoes.”

The cook promised: “These are the best potatoes you’ll ever eat.” So, how does she make the delicious-looking crispy roasties with a flavoursome kick?

Daisy’s crispy and spicy potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 300g of Charlotte potatoes
  • Aromat All-Purpose Seasoning
  • An oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Thyme and rosemary

Method:

The chef slices 300g of Charlotte potatoes. She adds paprika, Aromat All-Purpose Seasoning, and salt and pepper. Then she adds an oil, which the cook suggests is an “oil of choice.”

She mixes the potato slices and the seasoning until they are uniformly covered, then she pours the slices onto a baking tray. She adds thyme and rosemary and then cooks at 200C for 40 minutes, turning halfway.

TikTok users were quick to praise the delicious-looking recipe. One said: “Imma do these in the air fryer oh my goodness.” [sic] Another said: “These look so dreamy, I have to try them.”

“Yesss! I was searching for a potato recipe for tonight, and this is it!” one wrote, while another said: “These look amaaaaaaazing.”

Sharing their own version of the recipe, one wrote: “Been making those forever, but I put garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper and some olive oil and finish with cilantro that’s a game changer.”
