Remember Karen’s Diner, the Australian eatery we reported on last year that was looking for ‘the biggest Karens out there’?

Well, now one’s coming as a pop-up to Sheffield.

If you want to embrace your inner Karen and enjoy having something to complain about, Karen’s Diner could be for you.

Referencing the nickname for a certain type of problematic (usually white) woman who’s eager to call the manager, diners at Karen’s can expect ‘100% rude staff’ with a side of burgers and fries.

As the website reads: ‘Our staff are rude, our manners are non-existent, and we’re the perfect place for Karen’s everywhere to vent their anger and dismay at the world.

‘Come on, ask for the manager…WE DARE YOU.’

You can also expect appearances from the manager, who it’s claimed is ‘the most Karen Karen ever’ and singing waiters.

Staff may be unsavoury, but vegetarians, vegans and people who don’t want alcohol will still have their needs met by the menu.

While the full list of offerings isn’t available at this pop-up branch, you’ll still be able to choose between some ‘dirty American burgers’, chips, shakes, and cocktails – all in addition to the aforementioned Karens.

The pop-up is going to be held at a secret location in the city centre. People who have bought tickets – which cost up to £15 – will be sent the address via email two weeks before their booking.
