A NEW mum has taken to TikTok to share the easy burping technique her midwives taught her – and it works every time.

Alyssa, known online as @missmacklee, regularly shares parenting content with her 8,300 followers.

In a new video, she shares why she doesn’t pat her son’s back to get him to burp – but rather rubs her hand up his back.

She claims this small change makes a huge difference – and will help your baby burp in seconds.

During the 19-second TikTok video, Alyssa is seen moving her hand in one direction, from the bottom of her baby’s back to the top.

As she does this, her child’s back appears to length, before he finally lets out a large burp.
