A WOMAN has revealed that she nabbed a stunning summer dress from Tesco for a fiver – but not everyone loves it as much as she does.

The fashion fan was left stunned when shopping in her local Tesco, when she spotted a blue and white striped cotton dress that had been massively reduced.

Thrilled at her find, Liena Keistere took to social media to show off her new purchase.

Posting on Facebook, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with a staggering 2.3 million members, the savvy shopper explained: “Tesco clothing sale. Great cotton dress for £5!

“There are different colours too. Only left sizes XS, but fits for me, I am size 12-14.”

Liena’s F&F dress was originally priced at £16, but luckily for this bargain hunter, she nabbed it for just £5, saving herself £11.

Beaming at her cut-price buy, alongside her post, Liena posted a snap of her posing in her new dress.

The strapless striped maxi dress is perfect for a summer holiday – whether you’re going to the beach or grabbing some lunch.

Liena shared her post just 10 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 311 likes and 122 comments.

However, not everyone was keen on Liena’s dress and many took to the comments to make rude comparisons.

Another added: “Thought it was a beach towel.”

A third commented: “It looks lovely on you but made me chuckle that it was from Tesco and reminds me of their old carrier bags.”

Meanwhile, another Facebook user posted: “Sorry but I think it looks like a cross between a Tesco value logo and a German concentration camp inmate uniform. A big no from me, but if you like it, you like it.”

Whilst someone else chimed in: “Isn’t that Tesco’s colour brand?”

However, other social media users were eager to share their support for Liena.

One user wrote: “You look truly beautiful. Colour and style look lovely on you. Ignore all negative comments. Not worth reading.”

Whilst a second penned: “You look absolutely beautiful and I love the dress. I am appalled that some women on here feel it appropriate to make such negative comments.
