WITH the scorching weather set to continue, chances are your little ones will be trying to cool down by making a splash in a paddling pool.

But while it's all fun and games for the kids, it can be frustrating for the parents who spend ages trying to figure out the quickest way to fill it up with warm water.

If this sounds like a familiar problem, then you could just be in luck.

That's because a savvy dad named Darren has shared his genius water bottle trick which means his kids never complain about freezing cold water.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@darrenhannah336), he demonstrates how you simply need to cut a hole in the side of an empty plastic bottle and turn it upside down.

The kitchen tap then needs to be placed into the newly cut hole, while the outdoor hose pokes through the nozzle of the bottle.
