After two glorious seasons, Pose is ending with its upcoming third season. Production officially finished filming last month, and on Tuesday, we got a first look at what the cast has in store for us when the trailer dropped. Season three will flash-forward to 1994 and sees Blanca (Mj Rodriguez) struggling to “balance being a mother with being a present partner to her new love and her latest role as a nurse’s aide.” Meanwhile, Pray Tell deals with “unexpected health burdens” as “AIDS becomes the leading cause of death for Americans ages 25 to 44,” while “the emergence of a vicious new upstart house forces the House of Evangelista members to contend with their legacy.”

Janet Mock also shared the trailer on her Instagram, writing, “It’s the last supper, children, and we served it up — during a pandemic — for y’all, our loyal audience. Thanks for riding with us.” Season three of Pose premieres on May 2, so excuse us while we go grab some tissues.
