Trading card company Upper Deck has collaborated with Sony Pictures to release trading cards inspired by the hit TV show The Boys. The TV series follows main characters Hughie, Butch and their team as they try to expose and combat the the villainous ways of “superheroes” Homelander, Stormfront, A-Train and more. The new box set is a great way for fans to enjoy a collectible relating to the show and moreover, they’re accompanied by a VS System 2PCG card game inspired by the series.

The interactive card game brings significant story points in the show to a playable experience utilizing Upper Decks VS. System 2PCG.  The 200 card-set game allows players to compile a deck of characters, plot twists, and locations in an attempt to defeat opposing players. “We are excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures Consumer Products on The Boys, as we now have the opportunity to bring the incredibly engaging storylines off the screen and into the hands of the fans,” said Jason Masherah, president of Upper Deck. “The Boys is a great addition to our portfolio, and we’re thrilled to be a part of bringing fans of the show an all-new, incredible experience.”

The Boys’ trading cards and inspired VS. System 2PCG card game will be available in early 2023 at upperdeck.com, with more card sets and tabletop games coming.
