Following previous link-ups in Spring/Summer 2020 and later that year in Fall/Winter, Reebok and South Korean label KANGHYUK have reunited for a third time to reimagine the former’s Classic Leather silhouette in two colorways.
Continuing to draw on automotive inspirations, the duo have found a balance of aesthetics through discovery, exploration and experimenting with new designs and materials.
The first iteration arrives in a “White/Primal Red” colorway which was first seen as a part of KANGHYUK’s Fall/Winter 2021 “COLLECTION 10” early last year, while the second — a Dover Street Market London exclusive which is yet to be unveiled — will see it doused in “Collegiate Royal Blue”.
Inspired by industrial products like airbags, this innovative take on the Classic Leather boasts woven labels, a foam backer and zigzag stitching, as well as a co-branded sockliner.
The Reebok x KANGHYUK Classic Leather “Collegiate Royal Blue” is set to drop on February 5 via Dover Street Market London, while the “White/Primal Red” take will be available via the Reebok webstore from February 11.
In other footwear news, Dover Street Market’s velvet-clad Nike Dunk Low collaboration is almost here.
