In order to mark the arrival of Lunar New Year and usher in good fortune for 2021, Hennessy X.O will be commemorating the year of the Ox with a virtual charity celebration. Drawing inspiration from the flavor notes of X.O, the night’s festivities will place emphasis on the importance of hope and resilience for the start of a new year. In an effort to support small businesses in the Asian American, Black and Latinx communities who have been affected by the pandemic, viewers can expect to catch a range of dynamic showcases featuring renowned musicians, culinary luminaries and boundary-breaking artists.

To honor and ring in the Lunar New Year in bold fashion, a series of special appearances as well as live performances will take place throughout the evening and will feature a diverse range of notable talents that includes: host Henry Golding, Jay Park, Eddie Huang with Taylor Takahashi, MILCK, Dumbfoundead, Year of the Ox, Cari Hah, Kinjaz and AtomicMari. Keeping in step with the experiential theme, audiences will also be invited to harness the strength and perseverance the Ox represents while being treated to a celebratory night honoring influential icons, entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who embody the Ox’s spirit. “With our annual Lunar New Year event, Hennessy hopes to inspire a sense of optimism as we welcome new beginnings in the year ahead,” said Jasmin Allen, the Senior Vice President of Hennessy US.

For those looking to kick their Lunar New Year off with a bang, the event will be broadcasted across both Hennessy and HYPEBEAST’s Facebook Live tonight, February 18, starting at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST.
