With Fall season steadily creeping in, it signals one thing in Canada — that it is NHL season. Montréal-based skatewear brand Dime is paying homage to their home team, showing their utmost support to their hockey home team, the Montréal Canadiens.
Pledging their allegiance to the Habs, Dime is staying true to its roots in their latest collaboration. Bridging fashion with sports in this mashup, Dime took to the Bell Centre, the team’s arena, to shoot the lookbook. Keeping coziness and comfort in mind, key pieces are given the hockey treatment, including knitwear featuring graphics of the goalie masks, which coincidentally work well with spooky season. Often synonymous with horror films in pop culture, the sweaters come just in time for Halloween. Other pieces such as the t-shirts, include nods to the Canada with the maple leaf motif as well as the team rest and branding.
In accessories, the collaboration has dropped a series of toques and caps in the classic wavy Dime pattern, co-branded with the Habs logo. The hats also arrive in the quintessential red and blue team hues. Of course, no Dime collection would be complete without classic t-shirts and hoodies with the cartoon-like Dime branding. This time, graphics are intertwined with hockey motifs including hockey sticks and helmets to create the scene. Skate decks with hockey and Habs-themed graphics are also available.
The Dime x Montréal Canadiens collection will be available for purchase starting on October 14 at 11 a.m. at the flagship store in Montréal as well as at Tricoloresports, Boutique Canadiens de Montréal. Limited quantities will be available for purchase on online at Tricoloresports.
