Earlier this year, Crocs named Salehe Bembury the Creative Director of the Crocs x Pollex Pod. Building off of its earlier collaborations with the designer, the role is named after the popular Pollex Clog, his molded foam-based shoe for the company that first made its debut in 2021 and has continuously sold out over the years with each new colorway drop.

Bembury’s job as Creative Director, a title that will last a minimum of two years from his April appointment, was to consintously ideate new Pollex shoes for Crocs. Over the summer, Bembury and Crocs returned with a slide version of the Pollex and last month, he began teasing yet another original model.

The first photo of the collaboration showed just the underside of the show, embossed with a “Crocs Salehe Bembury” stamp. A new image published by the creative director shows a sneaker with a rubbery Pollex-style sole.

The body of the shoe appears to be made from peach-colored leather with a beige mesh tongue and inner lining. The sole replicates the Pollex’s unique gorpcore style, featuring a green rubber molded around the sneaker overlaid with a blue wavy design.

Bembury himself is holding the Pollex sneaker and succinctly noted in the caption that the release was due for “SS 24.”

Stay tuned for more updates on the forthcoming release of Bembury and Crocs’ first-ever Pollex sneaker.
