Excitement has been brewing around the Concepts given that its partnership with Nike is soon to be expanded upon with a brand new SB Dunk Low “Orange Lobster” colorway. But before the streetwear and footwear retailers pushes those out into the market, it will be reuniting with Vault by Vans for a new “Question the Answers” footwear and apparel collaboration.

Inspiration for the collection’s title nods to a Mighty Mighty Bosstones album from 1994, and it’s predicated upon a London fashion mohair fabric — a hallmark material from the ‘70s and ‘80s punk scene that’s merged with Vans‘ classic checkerboard pattern. Three silhouettes are included in this range: the OG SK8-Hi, OG Authentic LX, and an OG Old Skool NS LX. Key design elements to call out include the Sex Pistols-inspired shoe boxes and the two-toned, checkered mohair that decorates the base layers of each silhouette. “Given the nod to both Damier prints and Westwood-era mohair, the “Question the Answers” collection was the perfect drop for us to flex our luxury streetwear sensibility,” says Deon Point, creative director of Concepts. Dropping alongside the kicks are chino pants, hoodies, sweatpants, tees and shorts that also honor the early ‘80s Two-Tone scene.
