Streetwear label APT.4B has launched a fresh range of T-shirts and longsleeves honoring the 25th anniversary of the famous Hype Williams film, Belly, made in collaboration with Universal Music Group and Lions Gate Films.
The collection includes four designs, each of which points to memorable moments in the 1998 American crime drama, starring DMX, Taral Hicks, Nas, Tyrin Turner, Method Man, Tionne Watkins and Louie Rankin, among others. The “Belly ‘98” T-shirts, in “Black” and “White” colorways, centers the movie’s original cover on its front, while the back nods to its monumental anniversary. Meanwhile, the “Tommy’s Crib” T-shirt hosts a still image from the film, featuring DMX, whose signature appears on the back.
Down the line, the “Kisha” T-shirt fronts an image of Hick’s character, with her autograph printed on the back in pink. Rounding out the range, the “Brick” longsleeve top features APT.4B branding and film-inspired iconography on the front chest, with a blown-up iteration of the motif taking over the entire back.
APT.4B’s Belly collection is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore. Prices range from $70 USD to $90 USD. Take a closer look at the lineup in the gallery above.
