Alicia Keys has announced the recording of her upcoming eighth studio album, KEYS, which will be a double album.
The New York City-born singer and songwriter revealed on Twitter that Side A of the album includes the original versions showcasing “laidback piano vibes,” while Side B includes unlocked versions showcasing “upbeat, drums and level up vibes.” Additionally, the original versions are produced by Keys and unlocked versions are produced by both Keys and Mike Will Made-It.
This past September, Keys released her new single “LALA” featuring Swae Lee. So far, the song has been released in an unlocked version only, giving fans a glimpse as to what’s to come from the artist’s forthcoming album. In the same month, Keys hosted Moncler Genius’ latest virtual fashion show experience taking viewers across Milan, Tokyo, New York and more.
The release date for KEYS is yet to be announced, but the artist indicated that the album is coming soon.
In related news, Coachella will continue to take place in Indio, California until 2050.
