Steph McGovern, 39, regularly shares behind-the-scenes footage from the set of her TV show Packed Lunch on social media and today was no different. The Channel 4 presenter took to Instagram after filming her guests as they got ready to go live on air.

“On the telly in 2 min…@packedlunchc4,” she captioned a clip which she shared with her 49,200 followers.

“We are about to go live,” Steph said before panning the camera around the studio to introduce her guests.

“I’ve got Gareth Thomas, Marcus Brigstoke, Jacqui Smith and Kate Bottley… chatting to Simon Rimmer.”

The Sunday Brunch chef could be seen holding the reverend’s hands in his as he spoke to the TV personality.

“Illegal touching!” Steph exclaimed, presumably referring to the strict Covid rules that are in place amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“Sorry!” Kate apologised.

“I’ll douse myself in holy water…” she amusingly replied.

Simon could then be seen returning to the Packed Lunch kitchen area, ahead of his cookery segment on the show.

Earlier in the day, Steph could be seen in the hair and make-up chair getting ready for the show.

And before that, she filmed her morning workout routine.

The mum-of-one has been documenting her fitness journey online after embarking on a new healthier lifestyle.

As a consequence, Steph has dropped a dress size.

Alongside a black and white picture of herself sporting a svelte figure, she detailed her weight loss.

“I’ve dropped a dress size (from 14 to 12).

“AND it’s dead boring at times, but overall it’s making me feel fab physically and mentally,” she added.

Steph decided to overhaul her life in order to alleviate the symptoms of IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), which she suffers from.
