Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, 61, was mortified after she discovered she had made it onto a list of “unlikely celebrity crushes”, in a new poll carried out by Buzz Bingo. Chatting on Tuesday’s ITV chat show, she wasn’t best pleased when her co-star Coleen Nolan informed her she was voted into the top 10.
Unlikely? Seriously, unlikely? Rude

Completely stunned, Ruth asked: “Am I? Of a celebrity crushes? I’ve never been on those lists…
She added: “Unlikely? Seriously, unlikely? Rude!”
Coleen giggled as she admitted she felt slightly envious of her pal making it onto the list when she first saw it.
“I’m laughing now but when I saw it I was actually jealous!” she exclaimed.
“I don’t even get on the list of unlikely crushes so every credit.”
But the This Morning host was still hung up on the intricate details of the poll.
“What does unlikely mean?” she pressed, wanting to know exactly what she was up against.
Coleen replied: “I don’t know, I suppose unlikely that someone would have a crush on you.”
A gasp rang out as the panel hooted with laughter, with Frankie Bridge shrieking: “That’s so mean!”
Ruth finished in 10th place with two per cent of the vote, whilst her fellow colleague Denise Welch placed eighth, with five per cent.
The Apprentice star Karren Brady was number one with 20 per cent and Home Secretary Priti Patel came in second with 14 per cent.
Deborah Meaden also placed third with 12 per cent.
Ruth and her husband and This Morning co-star Eamonn Holmes, are currently on a break from the daytime show.
The married couple usually hosted Friday’s show but were replaced in January when their slot was taken over by two new presenters, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
But having been absent from viewer’s screens for several months, Ruth provided fans with an important update on when they’ll be back.
The presenter explained in a new interview that although she has stepped down from some of her responsibilities on the programme, she feels “lucky” to still be working.
When asked about a return this summer, she said: “Yes. We’ll be doing seven weeks from July. I’m looking forward to it.”
Whether she has spoken to Alison and/or Dermot since they took over the couple’s role, the mother-of-one confirmed she had.
“Yes. I speak to Alison all the time. She’s a friend of mine,” Ruth remarked as she voiced her praise for her colleague.
