Now, as Louis turns four on Saturday 23 April, the Royal Family have distributed a handful of sweet photographs of him that were taken by his mother, Kate Middleton.

In the photos that were taken in Norfolk on one of its beaches earlier this month, Louis donned an adorable grey jumper with stars on it over a grid check shirt.

He also wore a pair of teal blue shorts, evidently making the most of the sunshine the UK has had this month.

A couple of the snaps taken by Kate show her youngest son looking at the camera while holding a cricket ball.

In another photo you see Louis sat on the sand as he found something amusing, while the fourth snap is of him cheekily grinning as he ran towards his mum behind the camera.

In January, it was revealed that Prince William and Kate’s children, Louis, Charlotte, six, and George, eight, won’t be going to school on their birthdaysthis year.

Some would presume this was down to special treatment, but it’s actually down to the date their birthdays fall.

While Louis’ falls on a Saturday, Charlotte’s is on Bank Holiday Monday on 2 May.

Meanwhile, George’s birthday is 22 July, so he’ll be celebrating his special day over the summer holidays.

For Louis’ third birthday last year, it’s believethe youngster was “spoilt rotten” by his parents.

Noting that Louis is the youngest of his siblings, and therefore Kate’s “baby”,This Morningpsychologist Emma Kenny said: “The third child tends to attract lots of attention and can be very much doted on by their parents, especially if they don’t intend to have any more children.”

She went on: “I’m sure Louis’ birthday will be a lovely family affair and Kate will spoil her ‘baby’ rotten.

"She might feel a little sad that she can’t give Louis what his siblings had when they turned three due to Covid restrictions, so I think she’ll do everything she can to make it a super special occasion.”

With Louis still being the youngest of Kate and William's brood, it's likely the young prince will be spoilt again this year.
