The couple announced their pregnancy news in August 2020 and revealed the baby’s sex in November 2020. “Our nursery is going to be full of pink, as we get ready for our soon coming little one,” the couple told E! News at the time. “This sweet tiebreaker is a girl!!! The boys are outnumbered now! We are already in love with her and cannot wait to see her beautiful face soon. We appreciate all of your prayers for a safe arrival!”

Now they have shared more information about their baby girl: her name. Keep reading to learn Joe and Kendra’s second daughter’s name.

Joe and Kendra Duggar had some help picking out their baby girl's name

Joe and Kendra Duggar named their second baby girl Brooklyn Praise. People magazine reported that the parents chose the unique name in a conventional way: while reading a baby name book. “We were looking through name books and pretty much, this one really stood out to us,” Joe said. Brooklyn Praise joins big brother Garrett David and older sister Addison Renee, who were 2 years old and 1 year old at the time of Brooklyn’s birth, respectively.

Despite not having the easiest first night following Brooklyn’s birth, her proud mother told People it was worth it. “That joy of getting to see her sweet face, it was definitely rewarding,” she said.

In their statement to E! News, Joe and Kendra said Brooklyn Praise is getting praised by their family. “It seems the entire family is already in love with Brooklyn Praise. Children really are an inheritance from the Lord and we are so honored to be her parents! Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes,” they said.
