Breakups, kisses and space-themed challenges! Jessie and Aaron given the power to decide who is DUMPED from the villa – all you need to know about Love Island episode EIGHT

Tuesday night brought even more surprises and romance to the villa after an already explosive week.

Jessie and Aaron were given a major decision to make, while Kai, Tom, Haris, Tanya, Anna-May and Tanyel all faced dumpings.

Meanwhile, romance bloomed between Will and Jessie and Kai and Tanyel and the girls strutted their stuff in a space-themed challenge.

SUPRISE DUMPING

The Islanders were shocked to discover that the public had been voting for their favourite boys and girls.

The bottom three boys were revealed to be Kai, Tom and Haris while the bottom three girls were Tanya, Anna-May and Tanyel.

Shockingly the decision was put up to Jessie and Aaron to decide which one boy and one girl would be packing their bags.

WILL AND JESSIE GET CLOSER

Will tells Jessie: ‘All my eggs are in your basket’ as they chat by the firepit.

Later in bed to Lana, Will says: ‘I think I love her.’

The pair then shared their first kiss during the challenge, as the entire villa got hot and heavy in a sexy space challenge.

Donning revealing spacesuits to spin around the pole, the girls certainly got the boys’ hearts racing in the eye-popping task.

And Will was absolutely buzzing to have kissed the Aussie stunner and gushed to the boys after the game. 

Later, the pair snuggle by the firepit and Will tells Jessie he likes her and that he ‘gravitates’ towards her.

The pair then share another kiss, to cheers from the other Islanders.

ANNA-MAY GETS UPSET

Kai and Anna-May decide to end things after he says he feels more interested in getting to know Tanyel.

Kai says: ‘If I’m going to be completely honest with myself as hard as it is, I think I do get on better with Tanyel a little bit more and there’s a bit more of a spark there.’

Anna-May added: ‘I feel like we don’t have much flirt, it’s a lot of serious chat.’

The conversation continues as Kai says: ‘I think sometimes you’ve just got to go with your gut with these things.’

In the Beach Hut, Anna-May says: ‘I kind of saw it coming and it’s made me realise Kai is not the one I’m looking for’. 

She then breaks down in tears with Will and says she feels like a lost puppy, as the only one without a connection.

ZARA HAS HER EYES ON SHAQ

Zara approaches Shaq on the daybeds where she admits that ‘it would be nice to explore’ something new with him. 

She says: ‘I’ll be real with you, Tom is obviously ticking pretty much every box for me but it’s early still, I haven’t even spoken to you properly, it would be nice to explore.’

However, their cosy chat is awkwardly interrupted by Tanya Manhenga – who is coupled up with Shaq – as she brings the airport security officer a cup of tea.

And despite seemingly in a happy couple with Tanya, Shaq tells Zara that he feels the same way and would like to get to know her.

Shaq and Zara then bond as they talk about them both being from London as he remarks: ‘You’re from London too, you just get it.’

After Tanya asks: ‘Do you speak about me with Zara? Do you feel like when you speak to her about like, there’s anything there?

To which he admits: ‘When we do speak, I feel like there is a vibe there and we do get along, I’m gonna speak to her a bit more.’ 

Tanya admits she’s jealous, saying later: ‘It just makes me so hot and bothered.’

But fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their outrage at her actions after Zara got into an explosive row with Olivia Hawkins for flirting with her partner Tom Clare.

Viewers described her as a ‘hypocrite’ for asking Olivia to speak to her about Tom while not doing the same thing with Tanya when she flirted with Shaq.

One person penned: ‘Zara is such a hypocrite how you want liv to talk to you cause she’s in a couple with tom but doesn’t give the same grace to tanya??’

Another fumed: ‘Zara is doing the same thing that Olivia did to her. She’s such a hypocrite.’

Shock: But fans were quick to take to Twitter to share their outrage at her actions after she got into an explosive row with Olivia Hawkins for flirting with her partner Tom Clare 

While another commented: ‘Zara was getting mad at Olivia for talking to Tom but she’s basically doing the same w Tanya and Shaq #loveisland.’ 

And a fourth said: ‘Hmm so Zara has made her move on Shaq…it’s definitely starting to look like Zara isn’t a girls!! WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU ZARA!!!’ 

Some viewers also expressed their surprise about the flirting, while others criticised Shaq for expressing an interest in Zara after opening up about his feelings for Tanya.

One tweeted: ‘When the hell did Shaq and Zara become a thing??’

Another wrote, ‘Shaq out here tryna embarrass my sis tanya?,’ while another added: ‘Shaq nearly confessed his love for tanya yesterday but is only getting to know her today, I’m confused.’

He later tells Olivia that the door is not shut on them and she hints that there’s a connection.
