A MUM has revealed how people can make big savings on their holidays – even if they've already booked them.

With the cost of holidays going up, along with everything else, people are searching for any way they can to cut prices.

One parent has pointed out how they saved £70 on their Haven holiday, even though they had already paid for it.

On Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she explained how holidaymakers can use the terms and conditions of their bookings to make a saving.

Anna Hall wrote: Anyone with a Haven Holiday booked, it's worth checking the price now. I've just saved £70 with their price promise. Can take up to 35 days for the refund though."

The holiday park's price promise states that they'll beat any prices if guests find them cheaper after they've already booked them.

They say: "If at any time leading up to the arrival of your holiday, you see the total holiday cost of your exact Haven Holiday at a cheaper price (without the addition of referral codes), you can match your holiday to this price and receive a refund of the difference. It’s that simple.

"This is applicable to all bookings made directly through Haven.

"Once you have seen your holiday at a cheaper price, please call our team on 0333 202 5263 or speak with our web chat team.

"We can then check today’s pricing and if this shows a lower price, we will lower your holiday cost to match this and place any refunds if necessary."

Anna found her break for £70 cheaper than the price she booked it when paying early, so was entitled to the refund.

You could be too, if you've already booked your holiday.

That's why it's worth checking the price of your trip until it's time for you to go.

Meanwhile, Haven has holidays this year for £3pp per night.

The best deals are on four-night stays, starting from £49 – meaning families of four could bag a holiday from £3pp a night in 2023.

Holidaymakers have plenty of options to choose from as Haven has 37 parks across Britain – including Sussex, Dorset, Kent, Essex, Northumberland, the Lake District, Wales, and Scotland.

The holidays are all available with Haven's 'Hideaway' option, which is ideal for people looking to relax, change their surroundings, and use a Haven park as a base to explore the surrounding region.

The 'Hideaway' package comes with self-contained accommodation and access to Haven's onsite restaurants, takeaways, and shops, allowing guests to dine out if desired.

Holidaymakers can secure 2023 staycations with £30 deposits, and set up monthly payments to spread out the cost of the holiday.

From Monday to Friday, kids can also eat breakfast or lunch for just £1 when a main adult meal is purchased.
