With drama following them at every corner, ever since they took to the cobbles in 1983, the Websters have become one of Coronation Street’s most famous families. From divorces to kidnapping plots to secret children, the family isn't a group to live on the quiet side of life.

But outside of the soap, the Webster stars have gone on to do everything from performing on Dancing On Ice to winning an MBE.

So, here’s what the Websters are up to now…

Kevin Webster

First appearing in Coronation Street in 1983 and played by Michael Le Vell, Kevin has found his love life at the centre of some shocking storylines.

After welcoming two daughters, Rosie and Sophie in 1990 and in 1994 with Sally, the couple’s relationship broke down and Kevin married Alison Wakefield in 2000.

However, Kevin and Sally rekindled their relationship, though Kevin was unfaithful and welcomed a secret child with Molly.

Away from the screen, Michael married Janette Beverly, who played Elaine Pollard in the soap, in a romantic ceremony in 1986.

But after 25 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2011. Michael is now in a relationship with Louise Gibbons.

Sally Metcalfe

As Kevin’s ex-wife Sally’s love life has been through its ups and downs.

Following her divorce from the father of her children, Sally married Tim Metcalfe but things haven't been all smooth sailing as she was wrongfully imprisoned for fraud.

Away from the cobbles, actress Sally Dynevor has taken to the ice on ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

She is married to scriptwriter Tim Dynevor and the couple have three children together, including Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor.

Sally was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2021 New Year Honours for services to drama.

Bill Webster

Played by actor Peter Armitage, Bill arrived on the cobbles in 1984.

The father of Debbie, Carl and Kevin, Bill got married several times, first to Alison, then to Elaine Prior in 1985, and to Maureen Elliott in 1998.

After Bill cheated on Maureen, he got engaged to Pam Hobsworth in 2011. However, the couple’s relationship was turbulent and Bill subsequently had a heart attack.

The character made his last appearance in Weatherfield in December 2011.

Outside of the show, Bill appeared in programmes such as The Befrienders, Couples, Jack the Ripper and Hearts and Minds.

The soap star tragically died in 2018, aged 78.

Debbie Webster

Sister of Kevin, Debbie was 15 when she moved to Coronation Street.

Played by Sue Devaney, Debbie is a property tycoon and attempted to redevelop the street with former partner Ray Crosby.

Sue has had a highly successful TV career, starring in shows including Dinnerladies, Years and Years and Casualty.

On stage, she has appeared in productions including Mamma Mia!, The Wizard of Oz and The Wind in the Willows.

Rosie Webster

First portrayed by Emma Collinge between 1990 and 1999, Helen Flanagan took over the role in 2000.

The eldest of Kevin and Sally’s daughters, Emma had an affair with teacher John Stape but was kidnapped by John after his relationship with Fix Brown broke down.

After leaving Weatherfield to take part in a reality show in London in 2012, Rosie returned in 2017 but left a year later.

Off-screen, Helen Flanagan shares three children with footballer Scott Sinclair.

She has appeared on various TV shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity Wedding Planner and Holby City.

Sophie Webster

The youngest daughter of Sally and Kevin, Sophie was played by Brooke Vincent.

After kissing Amber Kalirai while she was engaged, Sophie’s wedding to Sian Powers fell through. She eventually left the cobbles in 2019.

Brooke appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2018 and in the same year she launched her own stationery brand called Oh So B.

She has been in a relationship with footballer Kean Bryan since 2016 and together they have two sons, welcoming their youngest in May last year.

Jack Webster

The son of Kevin and Molly, Jack has been played by Kyran Bowes since 2016.

Just months after his birth, he was trapped inside the Corner Shop following a tram crash.

While on her deathbed, Molly revealed who Jack’s dad was, causing Sally to divorce Kevin.

Abi Webster

After being sent to prison for protecting her son Seb, Abi (Sally Carman) fell for Kevin following her release.

The two got engaged, though Abi’s son Seb died while on her hen do in 2021.

The couple eventually got married in November 2021, though Abi has been unfaithful to Kevin.

Before appearing in Coronation Street, Sally appeared in various shows including Shameless, Prisoners’ Wives and Silent Witness.

While filming Shameless, the actress discovered Reiki, a Japanese form of energy healing, and briefly worked as a Reiki healer.
