A COUPLE were left stunned when they found a secret feature hidden beneath their kitchen floor.
Emma Harrison, 28, and Rhys Stainer, 27, this month discovered their newly bought home held the treasure which had been covered up for over 100 years.
After lifting the tiles on their kitchen floor, they found an old water well – measuring more than 20 feet deep.
Emma and Rhys shared their home's new addition on TikTok, and the video quickly wracked up more than 5.3 million views and over 232,00 likes.
The couple estimated that the hidden well was built with the house in 1897, making it 125 years old.
Emma told NeedToKnow.co.uk: "We absolutely love period properties and this feature was a great find!"
