Planning to join the Great Resignation and find something new in 2022?

These companies might be the places to start looking.

Glassdoor has revealed the results of its Employees’ Choice Awards, which lists the 50 best places to work this year.

This annual ranking is based on anonymous feedback from employees through Glassdoor, via a company review about their job, work environment, and boss over the past year.

From that survey, each workplace is given a number from one to five – with five being the absolute best.

Last year, Salesforce topped the list, followed by Microsoft, then Abcam.

This time around, there’s been a bit of a reshuffle – but the scores are pretty close.

Taking the top spot for 2022 is software company ServiceNow, which averaged out at a 4.6 rating.

One sales director at the business said: ‘Diversity, excellent product, supports customers well, puts customers at the very heart of everything we do. Supports its people, enables brilliance, fantastic leadership.’

Sounds good to us.

In second place is AND Digital, followed by previous winner Salesforce coming in third.

The full list (which we’ve shared below) reveals a trend for tech companies absolutely smashing it in the employee satisfaction stakes, making up 19 spots on the list with seven in the top 10.

Consulting is another popular field, along with manufacturing, consulting, and travel and tourism.

You can also see some common themes emerging in employee reviews, revealing what’s important to workers in 2022.

Work-life balance – with flexible hours and working from home opportunities – comes up again and again, alongside working culture, transparent leadership, good opportunities for training, and challenging/exciting work.

Glassdoor chief executive office Christian Sutherland-Wong says: ‘The world of work is rapidly evolving, fueled by the pandemic and now millions of workers reevaluating their expectations of employers.

‘This year’s Best Places to Work winners are leading the way by listening and responding to employee feedback and reimagining the employee experience to truly put their people first.’
