Stacey Solomon has given a glimpse inside the aftermath of the Moana-themed birthday party she threw for her adorable son Rex at her gorgeous £1.2million home.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, who recently congratulated close pal Mrs Hinch on the arrival of her baby boy, pulled out all the stops with an inflatable dolphin, colourful balloon arch and bespoke cake for the two year old she shares with fiancé Joe Swash.

Taking to her Instagram story, mum-of-three Stacey shared the mammoth task of clearing the decorations away following the birthday party to celebrate little Rex.

Stacey shared a sweet snap of son Rex beaming at the camera to her 4.4million followers while sitting amongst the decorations, which included an inflatable shark and palm tree, captioned: “On my 50th cup of tea this morning.

“I feel like I’ve got an actual hangover. Boys are in school so me and Rex are playing in the conservatory.

“I am going to tidy everything away and have a lazy day playing with this Pickle. Hope you’re all okay this morning! Happy Monday!”

The Tap to Tidy author swept the leftover decorations into a pile before magically clicking her fingers to reveal five neat piles containing paper straws, sequins, confetti and scraps.

Stacey added: “Packed up all the decorations and costumes for another time. Swept everything into the middle and separated and collected things I can use again.”

Completing the clear up, Stacey spritzed antibacterial along the surfaces before mopping the herringbone wooden floors to make the conservatory at her Tudor-style home squeaky clean.

In true Stacey style she revealed the “tap to tidy” of the conservatory which saw the balloon arch and huge blue number two remain in the window for “Rex to enjoy”.

Prior to the day, Stacey made fiancé Joe Swash a costume for their son’s birthday, but it turned disastrous.

Hoping to attend the bash as Tamatoa from Moana, Joe struggled to contain his modesty as he slipped into the bright purple, skintight costume Stacey had been labouring over.

"Trying to make Joe a shiny Tamatoa Crab costume for Rex's birthday and it's not looking very appropriate for a toddler's party," Stacey initially wrote before sharing a clip of Joe in the outfit.

"Think Tamatoa may have to wear a grass skirt on the day … my nieces and nephews and the boys think it's very funny looking though," Stacey captioned the image.

She could also be heard telling Joe to "tuck it away and just move it", to which Joe replied: "I don't have anywhere to put it. It's my penis!'"
