When it comes to baby names, it's a hard decision for any parent to make.

Some expectant mums and dads could take weeks or even months to find the perfect moniker.

Often people take inspiration from a favourite movie or even TV show, just like one couple did recently.

The pair, who are Game of Thrones fans, decided to name their triplets after the famous American fantasy TV series.

Now in a recent Reddit post, a user exposed the two parents obsessed with the show.

The names all came from the HBO series based on the best-selling medieval books.

On Reddit, the person wrote: "Met some triplets. Preschool-age triplets I recently met: Wolf, Wild, and Winter."

And since they weren't impressed by the names, the user shared it on the Names Nerd Circle Jerk forum on Reddit.

Others weren't impressed by the TV show-inspired monikers.

One said: "I know twins who are Wylde and Rebel. People shouldn't name kids."

Another added: "I guess I don't associate these things immediately with Game of Thrones.

"Maybe that's just because I'm from the wild north. Still, not names I would ever use."

A third admitted: "I'm a triplet and I'm so glad my parents didn't do that…

"I mean my name starts with a 'C,' yet I'm the middle child."

Meanwhile a female wrote: "I once met a woman whose twin sons were named Boy and Guy.

"I thought she was joking (she was a friend of a friend) and laughed."

Another Reddit user commented: "I know siblings called Brave, Strong, Free and Wild."

And one individual disagreed with the harsh criticism: "This is so something I would do, I won't even lie."
