A new rare coin has just sold on eBay for over 1,000 times its face value.
The "never seen before" £2 was released in 2022 to mark 150 years of the FA Cup.
Like all £2 coins, it has the standard gold-coloured ring outside made of Nickel-brass and a Cupro-nickel with a silver-coloured centre.

But what makes this coin pretty unique is the fact the design accidentally minted on one type of metal.
So it makes the £2 appear all in one colour, reports Mirror Online.
The coin features an image of the FA Cup trophy with the dates 1871-1872 and 2021-2022.
It is being sold in the original collective pack issued by The Royal Mint.
Now the owner of the rare £2 coin listed it on eBay with an asking price of £2,000.
In the description, it reads: "Rare Mono Error Coin 2022 FA Cup £2 Royal Mint Coin Bunc.
"Rare error straight from the mint this mono £2 coin is basically all gold missing the silver bit. Never seen another."
According to Coin Hunter owner Colin Bellamy, the £2 is a "great find" as single metal coin errors are "very rare".
He said: "What adds to the appeal here is the subject matter and the fact it passed inspection at The Royal Mint to be sealed in a pack and sent out to a customer."

Coins with mistakes are often called "error coins" and are extremely valuable to collectors.
It's because these are hard to find since they're one of a kind.
Having said that, it's important to carry out some research before buying a coin on eBay as there's loads of fakes.
Websites from change experts like Coin Hunter can help you distinguish between a fake and a real coin.
The Royal Mint can help to verify coins as well.
In other rare coins news, we recently saw a Kew Gardens 50p sell for a huge £165.
The seller listed the "very rare" genuine 2009 Kew Gardens 50p coin earlier this month with it getting 32 bids.
