It’s the time that no one wanted or expected to come – the final few days on Neighbours’ Ramsay Street, and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) is struggling with the impending ending of life as she knows it.
There are big changes afoot for the residents, families, and friends, with a whole host of huge returns from the past and those departing for pastures new. And poor Susan is finding it all pretty tough.
Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) has a surprise visitor who leaves her in shock, questioning if it’s too good to be true. She’s on the cusp of some huge life decisions – will she now make the right choice? Is she about to leave?
Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and David (Takaya Honda) plan to head over to New York to be with Lucy, and when Chris and Annie arrive, Leo (Tim Kano) is also convinced to head across the pond.
And with them goes Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes), who is following her new little family. Jane (Annie Jones) is distraught that her daughter is leaving and starts to believe it’s because she’s been acting like Mrs Mangel.
Will she try and stop Nic from going?
And Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is packing up for her own fresh start, especially when Glen (Richard Huggett) comes to a shock realisation about her and Paul.
Mike Young (Guy Pierce) arrives back in town to check out the Ramsay Street houses before they go under the hammer – this is all getting very real.
Too real for Susan, who is hating this mass exodus. Harold (Ian Smith) asks Karl and Susan to be custodians of the history book.
But Susan is having a hard time – faced with her friends and Neighbours leaving, how will she cope with what her new normal and the end of Ramsay Street as we know it?
Neighbours airs these scenes w/c Monday July 25 at 1:45pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
