A mother admitted drinking nearly 4.5 litres of her own breast milk, as she didn't want any of it to go to waste.
Singaporean Jemie Lim went viral on TikTok recently after she posted a video that showed her journey from Singapore to Hokkaido.
During the trip, she can be seen drinking her own express breast milk (EBM) after she was unable to freeze it due to "unexpected circumstances".

Posting from her account, @jemielimtiktok, the video caption read: "I drank 4450ML of my own breastmilk in Hokkaido."
Jemie then went on to explained why she tried it – and what it tasted like.
During an interview with Must Share News, Jemie revealed she was on holiday in Hokkaido between December 7 and December 12. She had previously asked the hotel if she could use its freezer to store her EBM, but she was warned the venue was unable to promise what the quality of the milk would be like.
She later found out that some of the milk had not been frozen.
"I was worried all my milk would be spoilt by end of the trip," Lim said.
Rather than throwing it away, she decided to drink the EBM herself.
At the beginning of the clip, you can see Jemie filming herself drinking her EBM when she's both on the plane, and at her hotel.
The video went viral and has now been viewed more than 139,000 times.
It also got a lot of people talking.
One person said: "It’s perfectly fine and ok, stay firm and don’t bother the negative comments from people who don’t understand."
Another commented: "So hmm. Is it considered Hokkaido Milk?"
Meanwhile, another added: "Reduce, reuse and recycle."
When someone asked why she didn't just bin the leftover milk, the mum responded: "[Can’t] just throw away, just that I very heart pain to throw as pumping use up a lot of energy."
She also noted that the milk tasted “sweet.”
