MONEY expert Martin Lewis is to grill Rishi Sunak on his TV show a day after delivering the Budget.

The Chancellor will join the consumer guru on his ITV Money Show on Thursday evening.

Mr Sunak will address the Commons on Wednesday with his plan to fix the the country's finances in light of the coronavirus crisis.

Mr Lewis will hold an on air question time with Mr Sunak, to answer viewers' questions about how it will impact their finances.

The MoneySavingExpert founder tweeted: "Delighted to confirm I'll be talking to the Chancellor on Thurs morning, after the budget, for @itvmlshow that evening.

"I only have around 10mins though, so careful prioritisation will be needed, to try and get answers.

"Clearly though there will be much I won't have time for."

Last week on his show, Mr Lewis challenged the Chancellor to join him in the hot seat for the following week's instalment.

He said: "Mr Sunak, if you're watching I'd love you here on the 4th March if you possibly can.

"I'll give you the whole programme, me and you talk. We'll put people's questions to you."

He added: ""#RishiComeTalkToMartin please, I'd love to see you."

Today, the MP for Richmond replied to his request on Twitter: "See you on Thursday #MartinComeTalkToMe".
