Marti Pellow will join James Martin on his Saturday Morning show today. The singer will treat viewers to a performance, while the chef will cook the Scotsman one of his signature dishes.
Marti Pellow released a solo album named Stargazer earlier this year in March.
However, the 56-year-old is best-known for being the lead singer to rock band Wet Wet Wet, who rocketed to fame in the 1990s.
The band’s hit singles include Love Is All Around and Goodnight Girl.
Thanks to his successful singing career, both with Wet Wet Wet and on his own, Marti has an impressive fortune.
The Scotsman has a net worth of $20million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
It’s a whopping sum that’s currently equivalent to £14.3million.
Marti’s love of music began when he was a young boy.
Born Mark McLachlan in Clydebank, Scotland, he would listen to his mother’s record collection as a child.

He has previously said in interviews that Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke were his favourite singers.
In 1982, aged 17, Mark was training to be a painter and decorator when he formed a band with three friends from his local high school in Clydebank.
These were Tommy Cunningham, Graeme Clark, and Neil Mitchell.
The group of four eventually became Wet Wet Wet.
It was around this time that Mark also changed his name to Marti Pellow, created from the nickname “Smarty” that he was given at school and his mother’s maiden name.
Wet Wet Wet enjoyed huge success throughout the late 1980s and 1990s.
The soft rock band scored their first Number One hit with a cover version of The Beatles’ ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ in 1988, and again with the hit single ‘Goodnight Girl’ in 1992.
The group’s biggest hit, however, was a cover version of The Troggs’ ‘Love Is All Around’, which spent 15 weeks at the top of the British charts in 1994.
The song was used on the soundtrack to the 1994 classic film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
‘Julia Says’ and ‘Don’t Want to Forgive Me Now’ were other successful singles that the band released a year later.
Marti quit the band in 1999 and, in 2001, he released his debut solo album, Smile.
Wet Wet Wet reformed in 2004, and by then, Marti had released a further two albums, Marti Pellow Sings the Hits of Wet Wet Wet & Smile, and Between the Covers.
In the late noughties, Marti performed at several jazz clubs and jazz festivals, and even appeared in Sir Tim Rice’s concert revival of his hit musical Chess.
He also played the leading role in a revival of the musical The Witches of Eastwick in 2008, and as Che Guevara in the musical Evita in 2013.
In March this year, Marti released his latest solo album Stargazer.
Marti lives with long-term partner Eileen Catterson, who is a former Miss Scotland, in Windsor.
