Hollyoaks star Danny Mac is expecting his first child with wife Carley Stenson.
And the Hollyoaks actor, 33, has given a glimpse inside his amazing home renovation project with his fellow Channel 4 soap star wife as they prepare to welcome their little one.
Carley, 38, took to Instagram on Sunday to share an adorable video in which she told her 43,000 followers of her baby announcement.

Meanwhile the couple are renovating the home that Danny grew up in, after his family moved to the home in 1993. Danny has since began turning the house into his future family home – with the actor’s mum moving into the house next door in 2019.
In the Instagram bio of The MacStenson Home Project, which has garnered 8,840 followers, the couple have penned: “Follow the journey of a lifetime with our home build project. A 10-year plan finally coming to fruition… hopefully.”
Danny revealed that the couple have created a self-contained annexe in the home complete with a lounge area, kitchenette and en-suite in order to give their guests extra space when they stay over.
And while the building work is underway, the pair have moved into the annexe.
Sharing a collection of snaps to Instagram, Danny and Carley have opted for grey-toned wooden floor with white walls and have kept the oak doors in their natural state.
The beautiful space has a double bed in the centre of the room decked with an assortment of throws.
And a grey sofa in the corner of the room complements the colour scheme perfectly with a grey blanket draped over the arm.
The couple have also opted for a sleek kitchenette complete with glossy cabinets and silver fixtures to allow their friends and family to cook their own meals.
Captioning the pictures of the annexe to Instagram, the pair wrote: “We are dreaming of the day we are able and allowed to welcome our friends and family to our home and, because we hope they stay for longer than a night or two, we wanted to give them a space they can escape to and make their own.
“So we’re creating a lounge area, kitchenette and spacious en-suite…. this also means we can MOVE IN for now, as this space has everything we need whilst living on a building site!!! The room is still a work in progress of course but it’s starting to take shape.”
Downstairs, the couple have created a huge open-plan space with gorgeous bi-folding doors to flood the room with natural light.
Danny and Carley have also focused on tiling their bathrooms and have created two very different looks in each.

The first bathroom is covered in neat white brick tiles to give a fresh and modern edge to the room.
Meanwhile their other bathroom has a gorgeous star-print tile with green skirting boards to add a splash of colour to the space.
And the couple appear to be keeping things neutral throughout their renovation and have opted for wooden flooring, exposed brick and white walls to create a light and airy feel to their new pad.
