As Dancing on Ice drew to a close on Sunday, the cast and crew celebrated the impressive climax of the series in style with a lavish wrap party to bring to an end nine weeks of formidable skating.

Nile Wilson was crowned the worthy winner during the 2023 final, when he beat stiff competition from Joey Essex and The Vivienne to secure the coveted trophy.

Celebrating his win at the boozy bash, the star couldn’t appear happier as he partied the night away, all while fellow contestant Patsy Palmer showed off her DJ skills on the deck.

The Eastenders actress, 50 took to social media to share a variety of clips from the night as the contestants continued to party well into the early hours, with the star looking dressed to kill in boyfriend denim and plunging black shirt, complete with silver boots.

Dressed down for the occasion, yet still channelling some serious glam, Patsy completed her look with a Hermes belt and wore her hair loose alongside a very natural makeup look.

Patsy’s unexpected skills on the deck came as a shock to many, with former Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti, who accompanied his girlfriend and DOI contestant Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu among one of the guests impressed by her talent.

Taking to social media to share a video of her performing, Davide clearly delighted Patsy, who later reposted the clip with the caption “Love you both.”

With the stars refusing to hold back on their dancing (which was thankfully no longer on ice!) the celebrities and their loved ones got stuck into some serious dancing as Patsy amped up the mood with a few toe tapping tunes.

With everyone on their feet, Patsy then joined the rest of the crew on the dance floor as she shared a number of further clips of her dancing with the stars, including Joey and Frankie Essex ’s grandmother Linda Sims who had come out to cheer Joey on in the final.

Dressed in an orange suit and scarf, Linda looked amazing as she threw a few impressive moves, with Patsy documenting every moment of the elaborate party bash for her fans to see.

As she finished documenting her night out as the show season officially drew to a close, Patsy captioned an Instagram story: “We made it @dancingonice class of 2023. Wow. The end.”

The elaborate party brought to a close the 2023 series of Dancing on Ice, which saw Nile Wilson triumph over Joey Essex and The Vivienne in Sunday night’s live final.

Gymnast Nile sobbed as he his skating partner Olivia Smart were crowned the champions after a dazzling final show which saw all three finalists achieve perfect scores.

Talking to the viewers at home, the visibly emotional 27-year-old said: "'I just want to say, 11 human beings proved we could do anything if you put your mind to something and work hard, you can achieve anything.”

The Leeds based athlete beat Joey who came second, and third placed drag queen The Vivienne, following a public vote.

The victory was a welcome boon for Nile, who had become visibly emotional earlier in the night after he performed the famous Bolero which won Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

He said: “We got to skate the most iconic ice dance of all time. What an absolute pleasure, what a process it’s been. We’ve put our all into it and we gave 110per cent and you can see how much it means to us.”
