Free vaccine clinic for dogs
This community service will have budget-minded pet parents wagging their tails. The Foothills Animal Shelter and the city of Arvada, in partnership with Petco Love, are helping families take care of their canine cohorts by offering free vaccinations. On April 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the shelter is holding a vaccine clinic at Arvada High School (north parking lot) at 7951 W. 65th Ave. Dogs can receive the distemper and parvo vaccines at no cost. (Please make sure your dog is on a leash.) Toy & Doll Supershow
Fans of vintage and collectible toys, dolls and comics are in the spotlight at the Toy & Doll Supershow. Taking place for the first time since 2019, a huge 30th anniversary show is set for April 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Delta by Marriott Hotel (10 E. 120th Ave.) in Northglenn. With more than 200 tables of toys, comics and more, there will definitely be something special to find for every collector and enthusiast in attendance. Admission is $5.
