America’s favorite light-heated queen of country music, Dolly Parton is getting ready to take her already over the top amusement park to the next level. As part of a recent half a billion dollar investment plan, frequent visitors of Dollywood will soon see a brand new resort and lounge added to the park.

Set to open for guest somewhere around 2023, the HeartSong Lodge and Resort will bring luxury to the staple Pigeon Forge, Tennessee attraction.

“Tucked away in a beautiful cove in the rolling foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains,” describes Wes Ramen in a blog on the attraction’s official website, “Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort is a well-appointed, reimagined property that features a variety of accommodations and amenities.”

What are these amenities you ask?

Well, the five-story resort is said to come with all sorts of Smokey Mountain inspired themed rooms that are sure to well accommodate families looking to rest after a fun filled day. Balconies with glamorous views of the resorts beautiful flora are available in many of the spaces.

The lounge offers four stories of “lantern-inspired windows,” an outdoor pool, and “a picture-perfect outdoor cove with family gathering spaces,” according to Ramey.

The cove in question is said to be equipped with a huge fire pit for all your Dolly Parton sing along needs, along with an in-screen porch.

“We have come a long way, baby!” Parton says in an exclusive interview with Travel + Leisure, “This was always my dream, of course, and I remember when we first opened, I was worried that nobody was going to show up, and now we’re worried too many [are] going to show up.”

The county legend goes on to say that the ever growing number of people in lines to Dollywood is the exact reason why she pushes forward to further expand the park.

“I just always wanted to have something special to leave behind, and jobs for my people — the ones who like to pick and sing, there’s a place for them, and the others who like to work, there’s a place for them,” she says, “I really think that our whole park just screams, ‘Bring your family, everyone can have fun!”

Dollywood and other Pigeon Forge frequenters will be waiting with baited breath for this lux new expansion to finally be unveiled in 2023.
