Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) is in serious danger in Neighbours next week, as manipulative Corey (Laurence Boxhall) ups the ante in his mission to get her to join cult The Order.

Corey first encountered Harlow several months ago, when they crossed paths in London.

Harlow, as viewers know, had taken a trip to the UK to reconnect with her aunt Harriet (Amanda Holden), and she soon hit it off with Corey, who has been nothing but supportive towards her.

Or so she thinks.

He followed her to Erinsborough, claiming that he took a chance on love. Harlow, however, wasn’t in the right headspace to enter into a new relationship, given that she was still fighting her feelings for Ned Willis (Ben Hall), so Corey backed off, and offered to be just a friend.

The newcomer, however, has been tasked by The Order to bring Harlow in, and therefore he has gone out of his way to isolate her from her friends and family.

He continues to do just that in the wake of Ned’s departure, and things ultimately take a harrowing turn, as he starts to drug her.

Harlow is feeling lethargic and out of sorts next week, but she has no idea what wrong. Corey, meanwhile, continues to isolate her from her loved ones, making himself out to be her only trustworthy friend.

His manipulation is working.

David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), however, starts to have doubts about Corey’s motives, which leaves Corey on tenterhooks, and thus he devises a plan to turn Harlow against her uncle.

His plan, yet again, works a treat, and with the help of the drugs he’s been feeding her with, she’s becoming more and more alienated from those that care about her.

David, however, remains suspicious, which leads Corey to take drastic action, as he whisks Harlow away on a getaway trip.

But little does Harlow know that she might never see her family again!

Will Corey get caught before it’s too late? Will David have a hand in his downfall?

Or will Corey do exactly as he’s set out to do and manipulate Harlow against all of her loved ones?

One to watch: Monday May 16 at 1:45pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
