Baby and nursery retailer Kiddies Kingdom has collaborated with expert astrologer Debbie Frank to determine the nursery décor style you should pick, based on your baby’s star sign.
From statement prints for fire signs to natural materials for earth to creating a space for creativity to grow for water signs, Debbie details the best horoscope nursery inspiration.

ARIES – BOLD PRINTS

Aries are known for their bold and fiery personalities, so why not bring some statement prints into your nursery décor?
Debbie explained: ‘The fire sign Aries has a lot of natural enthusiasm and energy and would enjoy the stimulation of bold prints in a nursery.’
In other words, avoid neutrals at all costs
If it feels too daunting to wallpaper the whole room, try a bold feature wall instead and create a centrepiece behind the crib.
TAURUS – NATURAL MATERIALS

Taurus is an earth sign and loves texture, so a nursery decorated with natural fibres and fabrics would be soothing and appealing to children with this zodiac
Using natural materials in your nursery design is perfect for a Taurus baby.
Focus on using warm wooden furniture throughout your nursery to give it a relaxed aura. What’s more, a natural wooden crib will make an ideal centrepiece for the room.

The astrologer explained: ‘Geminis love as much stimulation as possible so a myriad of rainbow colours would delight and amuse their curious nature.’
So you can incorporate rainbow colours subtly into your décor, even by framing a rainbow print to hang on the wall or using a multicoloured rug.
CANCER – UNDER THE SEA

People with a Cancer star sign love to be around the water, so a nursery decorated with water symbols and motifs is perfect for this baby
Debbie explained that ‘the water of sign of Cancer loves to be around the water, so a nursery decorated with water symbols and motifs is perfect for this baby.’
If you’re feeling creative, try painting an under the sea themed mural onto one of your larger, wooden furniture pieces or use decals for an easy and removable option.
Alternatively, parents can do a nod to this theme by opting for underwater colours such as blues, greens and violets.
LEO – HONEYBEE
July 23 – August 22
With connotations of joy and friendliness, the Honeybee theme is a fun alternative to the classic ‘Leo lion’
For the perfect Honeybee nursery, add a bee-shaped rug to the room along with lots of splashes of yellow with cushions or toys.
