Aldi’s Specialbuys go on sale every Thursday and Sunday, usually at 8am. Specialbuys are unique products available across a range of categories, including garden, home, children, DIY, technology, and more.

Aldi’s garden range has proved to be extremely popular with customers this year, especially as more people started to open their houses and gardens to guests and host parties.

The supermarket’s iconic hanging egg chair has been around for a while and every time it goes on sale, it immediately sells out.

However, Aldi launched a new hanging egg chair earlier this month which is similar to the original product but bigger.

The new chair is large enough for two people to sit on it.

It features a large sit with a rattan design, grey cushions, and a steel frame.

Costing £249.99, it is £100 more expensive than the original hanging egg chair due to its size.

Describing the new chair, Aldi’s website said: “Create a stunning statement in your garden with our large hanging egg chair.

“It’s timeless design and oversized cushions make it big enough to lounge in. They won’t be around for long!”

Available exclusively online, Aldi launched the chair for the first time on July 4.

After quickly selling out, it was reintroduced to the supermarket’s stock on July 18.

Although it immediately sold out again, that was the last time the chair was on sale.

At the time, there was even a virtual queue to access Aldi’s website.

Some unlucky customers who couldn’t get their hands on the product took to social media to vent their frustration.

One customer claimed the chair “sold out in one minute”, while another shopper said they couldn’t purchase the item despite being on the website at “8:02”.

The chair has proved popular with customers thanks to influencers such as Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon, who have similar versions of the item in their gardens.

The last time the chair was on sale, customers raved about it on the Aldi website.

One customer wrote: “Love love love it! Perfect, very happy.”

Another shopper commented: “So happy I got one, thank you Aldi. Been waiting for long time to get one.”

One person added: “Wow, this chair is amazing. It’s very heavy, sturdy, solid, well-built, can’t believe the price. I have been trying to get the smaller one but saw this and got after waiting a year. I won’t be selling on and it’s already getting the thumbs up from family and friends. Love love love.”

The Gardenline Large Hanging Egg Chair will be available to pre-order online from Sunday, August 15.
