Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made no secret of the fact that he has been training harder than ever before in preparation for his superhero debut in DC’s Black Adam. Following on from months of epic workouts which have helped him get huge in order to convincingly portray the superpowered champion, Johnson just announced that he is heading into the final week of filming on the movie. And he’s saved the best for last, giving his Instagram followers a look at the “breakfast of champions” he’s been eating to hone his physique in time for his last shirtless scenes.

“This is it,” he said in a new video. “We leave it all out on the field, and I’ve got to show my body next week on screen, so the diet is really getting dialled-in.” He adds that he has pulled sodium from his diet while on the home stretch of production, in addition to limiting his water intake.

The breakfast in the video consists of flank steak, egg whites, and brown rice. The dish is topped off with blueberries, because apparently notions of sweet and savory are merely constructs created by lesser mortals. “I shovel it all in, it doesn’t matter to me,” says Johnson, before moving on to explain the contents of his beverage, which is actually brown rice oatmeal:”One usually eats, if you’re a normal person, with a spoon, but I make it really watery and I just drink it.” That’s right; as if this meal wasn’t chaotic enough, he also drinks his extra carbs.

“It’s all for the cause,” he continued. “The goal is to raise the bar with Black Adam, and set a new standard and paradigm with how it’s done…fingers crossed next week we’ll bring it home strong.”
