Sainsbury’s has created a meal that should help families struggling to make ends meet this Christmas.

They’ve created a two-course roast with 11 items that costs less than £4 per person.

The meal comes with all the favourites – turkey, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. And the not so favourite sprouts.

It’s been designed to serve a family of six with some left over for Boxing Day.

The supermarket has set aside money to help keep the price below inflation.

Chief executive Simon Roberts said: ‘We are accelerating our commitment to being the best value, investing a further £50 million in lowering prices and doing everything we can to fight inflation and help our customers enjoy celebrating this year.
