A WOMAN has shared the handy way she turns one sandwich bag into two, with the edges perfectly sealed.
TikTok user @HowSheDoes uploaded two videos showing how all you need is a hot knife or pair of scissors.
In the knife video, which racked up over four million views, the savvy woman first heats up a knife on her cooking hob, letting it sit in the naked flame for a few seconds.
She then runs the hot knife down the centre of the Ziploc bag so she has two halves left.
The woman then demonstrates how each side is perfectly sealed down the sliced end, and she now has two bags to play with.
After the first video was such a success, she repeated the process but used a pair of scissors instead.
She added in the comments that it is the “best mum hack ever”, and said: “The heat instantly seals it as you cut.”
The TikTok user then shows the bags being filled up with snacks, and haven’t fallen out the cut end.
People have been left amazed at the hack, with one writing: “Say whaaaaaat.”
Another added: “Wow.”
