SHE had gone all out for a party to announce the gender of her unborn baby to her nearest and dearest.
But Marsha Girgis' gender reveal party was thwarted at the last minute – by her cat.
Marsha took to TikTok to share a video of what had happened, with the clip soundtracked by the much-used "Oh no" song.
As the dietician strolled through her apartment, wearing a baby girl rosette presumably to confuse her guests, she then turned the camera to her cat – sitting among a tonne of blue confetti.
"When your gender reveal is a complete fail," a voiceover said over the clip.
Before she wrote over the video: "My cat popped the gender reveal balloon before my gender reveal party."
She added in a pinned comment on the post: "But I can never be mad at that cute face."
"The kitty said .. And I’ll do it again," someone else commented, to which Marsha replied: "Oh yeah, he has no regrets lol."

"User error. Shouldn’t have chosen the balloon method with a kitty," a third wrote.
While another added: "Omg! 100% my cat would do this. Hence why we are doing gender reveal cupcakes."
With Marsha responding: "Good idea."
"He said that’s what y’all get for bringing another baby into the home," someone else commented.
Speaking of gender reveals, this couple used fireworks for theirs, and terrified their neighbours' dogs.
One student told her parents that she got pregnant by sitting on her boyfriend's lap.
And this woman's bump is so small that people have accused her of faking her pregnancy.
